Job Description

Position: Spring/Suspension Installer

Location: Mississauga, Canada

$20 – $25 per hour

Role Summary:

As a Spring/Suspension Installer, you will be an essential part of our dynamic team that ensures a safe and efficient workspace. You will be involved in various tasks requiring keen attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. This role is perfect for individuals who are physically active and have excellent hand-eye coordination. It is essential to be vigilant and adhere to safety measures to safeguard against potential hazards.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, paying particular attention to the floors, ensuring they are free of slippery oils, fluids, and debris.
  • Wear the required personal protective equipment, including safety boots, gloves, and eye protection, to protect against chemical burns, cuts, and flying debris.
  • Assist in the lifting and moving of heavy objects, always in teams, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Exhibit fine attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring that the work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Regularly bend, crouch, and kneel as part of the daily tasks.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing time effectively.
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity in handling tools and equipment.
  • Stand for extended periods while completing tasks.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to remain up-to-date with industry standards and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a culture of safety and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of WSIB compliance and safety practices in the workplace.
  • Experience in a similar role or industry is an asset.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols.
  • English Proficiency
